10 a.m. to noon

Although the Community Cupboard doesn’t begin its regular season until November, we’re happy to be able to open the cupboard doors September 16 and October 21.

Some welcome changes should help keep things flowing.  You’ll hear all about it at the registration table.

Remember your ID
You may have noticed that many free distribution centres are now requiring guests to provide some form of personal identification. We ask the same.  Examples: health card, driver’s license, ODSP or welfare stub, immigration papers, etc.

Many thanks to community members and our church-at-large for helping provide funding and other support. Click the link below for a printable [pdf] list of ways to help.

Weathering the Storm

storm damage, 19 July 2013

The powerful storms that tore through Eastern Canada Friday left a mark on Historic St. Paul’s church building also.  Part of the roof was ripped up and a spire blew off the front of the structure.  We praise the Lord that no one was injured, and also that the damage was not more severe.

Thanks to all who helped clean up and spent time meeting with the professionals.  We’re happy to report that the building is safe.  Bible class and Service will be held as usual tomorrow, and we’re so excited to welcome all the children for Vacation Bible Camp starting Monday morning!

Built on the Rock the Church shall stand
Even when steeples are falling.
Crumbled have spires in ev’ry land;
Bells still are chiming and calling,
Calling the young and old to rest,
But above all the souls distressed,
Longing for rest everlasting.
