This free program for children aged 3 through grade six offers five mornings of fun as they get to know Jesus Christ the Saviour.

Activities include Bible stories, puppet skits, crafts, music, snacks and recreation time.

VBC Women's ESL classNew this year, we are offering a women’s ESL (English-as-a-Second-Language) class during Vacation Bible Camp.  Gather each morning to learn the same Bible Story the children are learning.  You will also attend the opening and closing each day, and have time to relax over refreshments with other mothers and caregivers.  Please let us know if you would like to participate in this free class.

Your unwanted items can buy food and winter clothing for our neighbours in need.

Cash4Cans ‘n Stuff, the recycling program that supports the Community Cupboard, now accepts e-waste (and much more).

e-wasteWe’ll take your old computers, stereos, TVs, printers, scanners, photocopiers... Anything with a circuit board, LCD screen, or electrical cord! Cables, too.

Many of these items do a lot of damage to the environment when they break down in landfills.  When recycled safely by trained professionals, however, their components are useful and valuable.

Got metal?Cash4Cans ‘n Stuff also collects other recyclables, including any metal-containing items, batteries, appliances, beer/wine/liquor containers—so bring whatever you’ve got lying around.

Cash4Cans ‘n Stuff collects year-round, with all proceeds to the Community Cupboard.
Contact the office for drop-off information, or stop by and meet some of the volunteers at our next collection day:

Saturday, 31 May 2014
10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

in the church parking lot
(entrance off Church Street)

The program has diverted more than 16,000 lbs of recyclable material from the landfill, raising almost $3,500!  Visit www.cash4cans.net for more information.
