“Pre-Season” Community Cupboard Dates

September 15 and October 20, 2014
10 a.m. to noon
non-perishable food items

Although the Community Cupboard doesn’t begin its regular season until November, we’re happy to be able to open the cupboard doors on two Mondays: September 15th and October 20th.

Remember your ID
You may have noticed that many free distribution centres are now requiring guests to provide some form of personal identification. We ask the same.  Examples: health card, driver’s license, ODSP or welfare stub, immigration papers, etc.

Sunday Education Hour Resumes

The full Sunday morning schedule is back September 7, 2014 after the summer recess. 

Christian education classes and activities for ages 2 to 102 are happening throughout the building Sundays at 9:00 a.m.  All are welcome.

You TwoYou Two

For two(ish)-year-olds (pre-schoolers) accompanied by a parent or other special adult.  In the Nursery (downstairs).

Sunday School

For Elementary School students.  In the Thomas Room (upstairs, on the Church Street side).

Youth Bible Study

For Junior High and High School students.  In the "Dungeon" (the Youth Room, which is the basement of the 1889 church building).

Adult Bible Class

Taught by Pastor Gajdos in the Luther Room (downstairs).  Click here to read about this Fall's study.

Life’s Big Questions: Job

"Does Job revere God for nothing?" Job 1:9

The Book of Job takes an honest look at many of life’s big questions.

We’ll begin this multi-part study September 7, led by Pastor Gajdos.  All welcome, any Sunday.  Bibles provided.

Adult Bible Study
Sundays at 9:00 a.m.
(beginning September 7, 2014)
in the Luther Room
From the Office entrance,
go straight ahead and down the stairs.
Lift also available.


A Youth Bible Study (up to age 18) is also available Sunday mornings at the same time.

Children (aged 2 and up) have Sunday School. Contact Debbie for information.

Golf Tournament & Dinner to Benefit Community Cupboard

Cost: $65 (includes 18 holes of golf, power cart, and dinner)

Share in the fun by joining us for a wonderful meal at 5:30 p.m. 
Cost for dinner only is $20.

Multicultural Festival in Victoria Park

12 oclock noon
each day.

“Ask and you shall receive!”  Well have some gifts at our booth for those who ask, so don't be shy. 

In addition, if you dont have a Christian Bible of your own and would like one, we have 100 free copies to give away.  You can also find a variety of free Christian resources on practical subjects, and information on free community programs offered at our church:

    • Community Cupboard
    • English-as-a-Second Language conversational programs
    • Vacation Bible Camp
