Sing Noel, Sing Hallelujah - A Christmas MusicalCantata 2009 at the Centre in the Square

Two Performances:
Sunday, December 12th at 7 p.m.
(Sunday tickets all gone!)
Monday, December 13th at 7 p.m.
Centre in the Square, Kitchener

Admission: FREE
Contact the Church Office to reserve your tickets.

The 100-voice Festival Choir is accompanied by the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony along with narrators, a children’s choir, handbell choir, and local musicians: Brian Belleth (tenor), Marion Samuel-Stevens (soprano), Kevin Ramessar (classical guitar), Kevin Pauls (Christian recording artist) and Norbert Reda (baritone).

A free-will offering will be received to help defray costs.  Any surplus donations will be given joyfully to The Working Centre.

Doors Open!

Get a closer look inside Historic St. Paul's beautiful 1889 building during Waterloo Region's Doors Open Festival:Cornerstone "1889"

Saturday, September 18, 2010
10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Free tours throughout the day with knowledgable and engaging guides, including the sanctuary and bell tower
  • Local archives and historic quilts on display
  • Organ recitals "on the hour" on the 1921 Casavant.

Michael Coren, host of a popular daily TV discussion panel, will be our guest for a thought-provoking evening:Micheal Coren

Born in England, son of a Jewish cab driver, Coren became a Roman Catholic in his twenties.  After some time in Evangelical circles he returned to the Catholic Church in 2004. 

Coren is well known for being provocative and politically incorrect, but also strongly pro-life and pro-family. 

In addition to hosting The Michael Coren Show, he writes a weekly syndicated newspaper column and is the author of a dozen books including biographies of G.K. Chesterton, H.G. Wells and C.S. Lewis.

Following the presentation, there will be light refreshments and time for informal visiting with Mr. Coren.  All are welcome. 

This is the third in a series of lectures to mark Historic St. Paul's 175th Anniversary year.  Sponsored by the Rockel Lecture Fund.
