Special Services Leading Up to Easter

The season of Lent begins March 9th.
Please join us Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. for 40-minute devotional services under the theme

"Jesus, Peter, and Me"

based on St. Peter's role in the Passion of Our Lord.  Weekly messages:

"It's All About... ...Pride" March 9 Ash Wednesday - Imposition of Ashes & Holy Communion; ...Complacency" March 16; ...Misunderstanding" March 23; ...Distant Discipleship" March 30; ...the Company You Keep" April 6; ...Denial" April 13; and Holy Week Services: ...Cleansing" Thurs, April 21 Maundy Thursday - Holy Communion - 6:30 p.m.; ...Death" Fri, April 22 Good Friday - 10:00 a.m.; ...Life" Sun, April 24 Easter Morning - Holy Communion - 10:00 a.m.

Wednesday services are "sandwiched" between our weekly Manna dinner at 5:30 p.m. and Catechesis (Christian instruction) for youth and adults, 7:15-8:00 p.m. 
You are welcome to join us any Wednesday, for any part of the evening.

Winter Clothing & Food Bank

During the winter months, Historic St. Paul's is providing a place where neighbours can select needed articles of warm winter clothing, as well as food items from our pantry.food items

Monday mornings until Spring
10:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Enter through the office door off the parking lotWinter clothing

Coffee is brewing all morning.  Christian resources such as pamphlets and children's DVDs are available to anyone interested.

Would you like to contribute?  We need:

  • Volunteers (at least three each week) to welcome guests and assist them in selecting clothing and food;
  • Donations of non-perishable food, winter clothing, and money to purchase items on sale.

Please contact Tony Marchand if you can assist with this ministry, or to inquire about specific items most needed.  All donations gratefully accepted at the church.
