Seniors' English Conversation CircleNew this Winter during the Community Cupboard: “Seniors’ English Conversation Circle”
For any who wish to practice their English speaking skills, come to the Luther Room (in the basement) between 10:30 and noon.  This is one of two ESL opportunities being offered in partnership with members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.  Visit this page for information about the Tuesday evening program, and for general contact information.

Many thanks to community members and our church-at-large for helping provide funding and other support!

All people regardless of personal beliefs are welcome to visit the Community Cupboard.  If you want to know more about Jesus Christ or about Christian beliefs, please help yourself to the printed material on display.  A pastor is also happy to meet with you.  Just ask.

Jesus . . .

Posted on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 01:30 PM

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

This Sunday, and every Sunday, the Lord Jesus Christ will be among us as we receive His life-giving Word.

Divine Service
Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

Come gather with your fellow travellers.  Bring your burdens and weariness.  Give them to your Saviour who died and rose and lives for you.  Leave with the peace that only He can give.

Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, the Light no darkness can overcome.

I heard the voice of Jesus say, “I am this dark world’s light.
Look unto Me; thy morn shall rise and all thy day be bright.”
    I looked to Jesus and I found in Him my star, my sun;
    And in that light of life I’ll walk till trav’ling days are done.
