Game 4 - Jun 13

UPDATE: Due to a change in rules for 2023, this game was considered complete, the Cardinals won 5-4. Your Crusaders now move to 2-2 for the season.

RECAP: The Crusaders played their 4th game of the season or we should say attempted to play our 4th game of the season, against the Cardinals. The weather cleared up enough for the start of the game. It looked like it was going to hold off enough to get at least the minimum 5 innings in required to call it a complete game. However, the rain started up again only heavier. It turned our field into a muddy mess in a short period of time. The game was called after 3 innings, which was a blessing for our team as we were behind anyway. Thank you to a few fans who came out to support us and got a little wet like the rest of us. Next week we play at the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club ball diamonds on Beitz Rd, near Conestoga. We should all be dried off by then. The Crusaders remain 2-1 for the 2023 season.
